Each year, as part of our Legacy Night celebration, the MAEF Board of Trustees selects an innovative educational project which has the potential to impact a great many students. This year, Fund-A-Need donations will update and enhance the Media Centers at OH Anderson, the middle school, and the high school.

Having an environment that is conducive to creativity and collaboration has become instrumental in today’s schools. In addition to the offering the traditional tools and resources, creating the optimal physical space – one  that offers flexible work areas  – is essential for our students as we prepare them for the jobs of tomorrow.

Our Media Centers play a vital role in fostering the creativity, ingenuity, and innovation of our students. The need to move away from the traditional library format is crucial – students now require a space where the atmosphere is one of collaboration and exploration – and yes, where noisiness and messiness are now encouraged.
