2025-26 Impact by the Numbers

Since 1988, the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation has invested more than $3 million in Mahtomedi Public Schools and its students.

Over the past year, your contributions have enabled us to support:

  • $2,450 for Staff Recognition to celebrate student and staff events, including the Celebration of Excellence, Future Educators Breakfast, staff Welcome Back Breakfast, and a Teacher of the Year grant.

  • $7.900 for Student Enrichment to support student clubs and activities, including the Modeling a Protein Story (MAPS) Team, DECA National Conference, and the FIRST Robotics Team.

  • $21,000 for Basic Needs to help students and families in need both in and out of the classroom. Includes the Angel Fund, Care Closets, Daily Snacks for Students, St. Andrew’s Back to School Event, and Backpack Food Program.

  • $89,525 for Classroom Grants to provide 24 staff with new tools, technology, and techniques to enhance their teaching and inspire their students, directly impacting the classroom.

  • $59,500 for Post-Secondary Scholarships to assist students in pursuing their education & and passions after graduation.

  • $100,000 in District Initiatives Angel Fund Removing Barriers. Expanding Opportunities. Expanding the Angel Fund to support enrichment opportunities in academics, the arts, athletics, and activities. These experiences are not extras; they are vital to a student’s growth, confidence, and sense of belonging.

    Mahtomedi offers a wide range of opportunities that help students learn, connect, and thrive beyond the classroom. Through the Angel Fund, we are working to ensure every student can participate fully, regardless of financial barriers.
