Post-Secondary Scholarships

MAEF manages post-secondary scholarships for students attending Mahtomedi Public Schools. Scholarships are available because of generous donations from individuals and families. Scholarship donors recognize the importance of education and have chosen to actively participate in extending this opportunity.

Applicants applying to the MAEF Community and Technical Scholarship should fill out the MAEF Community and Technical Application. The application window is December 19, 2025 - April 24, 2026.

The 2025 application window for post-secondary scholarships is December 19, 2025 - March 15, 2026.

GENERAL APPLICANT CRITERIA

• Post-secondary scholarships are available to Mahtomedi Public Schools students in their senior year.

• Incomplete applications will not be considered.

• An application is not complete until all supporting documentation has been submitted.

• Applications will not be accepted after the deadline.

• Note: Scholarship applications are best completed using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

READY TO APPLY

The 2025 application window for post-secondary scholarships is December 19 , 2025 - March 15, 2026.

• Students need only complete the MAEF Scholarship Application 2025-2026 for most scholarships.

  • NOTE: If you have already completed the MAEF Scholarship Application and need to upload additional documents please use THIS FORM.

• The exceptions are:

  • Applicants applying to the MAEF Community and Technical Scholarship should fill out the MAEF Community and Technical Application.

  • Returning American Legion Scholarship applicants (college freshmen) ONLY complete the American Legion Scholarship Application for Previous Recipients or Students Enrolled in First Year of College.

Award Process

All students selected as scholarship recipients will be notified by the Mahtomedi High School Counseling Office in early May. Scholarships will be awarded at the Senior Scholarship Night.
