Carole Fargo Summer Enrichment Scholarship
The Carole Fargo Summer Enrichment Scholarship will offer scholarships to students from Mahtomedi Public Schools (grades Kindergarten through 11) who demonstrate interest and talent in the visual arts. This includes areas such as drawing, design, painting, print media, film/video, website design, sculpture, decorative arts, applied arts, and literature. The scholarships are designed to help students participate in summer camp programs or activities that focus on these creative fields.

Join Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation’s 24-hour GivingTuesday appeal to help fund our Angel Fund, which provides essential resources for students and families in our community.
What is GivingTuesday?
GivingTuesday is a global movement that inspires individuals and organizations to use their time, talents, and resources to uplift their communities.
Our goal this year is to raise $5,000 and increase awareness for the MAEF Angel Fund. This fund plays a vital role in meeting basic needs by supporting Care Closets, daily student snacks, the St. Andrew’s Back to School event, the Backpack Program, and more.
Together, we can make a meaningful impact for Mahtomedi families!

Fall Fund Drive: Empowering Student Experience
The Fall Fund Drive is a vital initiative for MAEF, as it enables the organization to continue to support and enhance learning experiences for all students at Mahtomedi Public Schools. MAEF invests in innovative classroom tools and techniques, academic excellence, and basic needs to promote student success. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have made a meaningful impact on students, families, and staff at Mahtomedi Public Schools.

$2,200 – Celebrating students & staff through events like Celebration of Excellence and Teacher of the Year
$6,500 – Supporting student clubs & activities like DECA, NASA HUNCH, and Real World Design Challenge
$22,500 – Meeting basic needs through Angel Fund, Care Closets, and the Backpack Food Program
$79,742 – Funding 77 classroom grants that bring new tools, tech, and creativity to our classrooms
$54,500 – Providing post-secondary scholarships for 35 graduates pursuing their dreams
$91,000 – Supporting inclusive play spaces at Wildwood & O.H. Anderson Elementary Schools
