Give Through Your Employer
Donate to MAEF through your employer as a one-time or an ongoing gift. Check with your employer for information about selecting the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation for any of the following options. Donations to MAEF are tax-deductible.
Payroll Deduction – Donate directly through your paycheck. You select the amount and the timing, and your employer handles the rest.
Employer Donation Match – Double your donation! Contact your employer to see if your company offers a donation match for your donations made directly to MAEF. Payroll deduction donations may also be matched by your employer. Employers that MAEF has received donation matches from include: 3M, Adobe, Boston Scientific, General Mills, Medtronic, Microsoft, TCF Financial Corporation, Thomson Reuters, UnitedHealth Group, US Bancorp, and Wells Fargo. If your company provides a donation match, we'd love to add them to our list!
Dollars for Doers or Volunteer Grants – An employee giving program in which a company provides monetary grants to nonprofits where their employees volunteer. Some companies that participate include 3M, Allina, Allstate, Google, Microsoft, and UPS. Check with your employer to see if they offer Dollars for Doers or Volunteer Grants.
