We’re excited to welcome Medora Benson as the new Executive Director of the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF)!
Medora brings a strong background of nonprofit leadership, community engagement, fundraising, and relationship building to her role. Her most recent role was the Associate Activities Director at St. Croix Preparatory School in Stillwater, where she also served on the Foundation board and led fundraising initiatives. She comes from a long line of educators on both sides of her family and has a lifelong appreciation for the significant impact of education. She is passionate about building partnerships that support students, teachers, and the community to advance the Mahtomedi Area Education Foundation’s mission.
In her free time, Medora enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering on Minnesota Sports teams (Skol!), DIY house projects, and coaching volleyball.
Medora is looking forward to getting to know the Mahtomedi Public Schools community and connecting with families, staff, and community members, starting with this year’s Back-to-School events!
