Wildwood Performing Arts grants help support music and the performing arts in Mahtomedi Public Schools. Originally founded as a committee of the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF), the Wildwood Artist Series concluded its concert series format in 2025.

While this marks the end of an era shaped by the incredible dedication of Ellie Bruner, Julie Molitor, and countless volunteers, it opens the door to a new chapter focused directly on our students, teachers, and enhancing the appreciation of the performing arts within our schools.

Your support continues to make a lasting impact.
Donations to two exciting initiatives, the WAS Performing Arts Fund and the Ellen C. Bruner Professional Performing Artist Residency Fund, will continue to nurture the performing arts in our schools through the MAEF Classroom Grants program.

Ellen C. Bruner Professional Performing Artist Residency Fund

Ellie Bruner founded the Wildwood Artist Series (WAS) in 1990 as a committee of the Mahtomedi Area Educational Foundation (MAEF). Her vision was to offer diverse, family-friendly performances, foster a deeper appreciation for the fine arts, and promote music education within the community.

The Ellen C. Bruner Professional Performing Artist Residency Fund will bring professional artists into extended partnerships with our students for hands-on learning experiences in the schools.
